Daylight saving

New Zealand Standard Time is usually 3 hours ahead of Japanese Standard Time, but this time difference becomes 4 hours during the period known as Daylight Saving.

Daylight Saving Time begins from the last Sunday in September, when 2am becomes 3am, and ends on the first Sunday in April the following year, when 3.00am becomes 2.00am.
