From 16 October 2012, people in Japan applying for temporary visas for New Zealand need to lodge their applications with the New Zealand Visa Application Centre (VAC) in Tokyo.  The New Zealand Embassy in Tokyo is no longer receiving visa applications.

The VAC will charge a visa facilitation fee of ¥4,073 incl. tax per application. The visa facilitation fee should be submitted with each application along with the relevant visa application fee (where required).

How can fees be paid?
