New Zealand Embassy Tokyo, Japan

ANZAC Day Memorial Service - 25 April 2014

The New Zealand and Australian Ambassadors wish to announce that an ANZAC Day Memorial Service will be held at the Commonwealth War Cemetery, Hodogaya, Yokohama on Friday 25 April 2014 commencing at 9:00am.

Starting this year and over the next few, ANZAC Day commemorations will have special significance for Australia and New Zealand as we mark centenaries for the outbreak of World War I, the ANZAC landings in Gallipoli in 1915, actions in France and Belgium and the Armistice in 1918.

All members of the Australian and New Zealand communities in Japan are invited to attend.  A map showing the location of the Cemetery is available on the New Zealand Embassy website or can be requested by telephoning the Embassy on (03) 5478-9687.
