Deputy Head of Mission attends meeting on Nagoya Protocol

Deputy Head of Mission Janet Lowe (second row third from the left) attended a technical expert meeting in Tokyo on 25-26 March hosted by the Japanese Government and the UN University on the Nagoya Protocol.

Janet took part in the meeting in her capacity as the Co-Chair of the Intergovernmental Committee on the Nagoya Protocol (ICNP). The Committee is tasked with preparing for the entry into force of the Protocol which sets out international rules governing access to, and the use of, genetic resources.
