Future Japanese pilots are trained in the skies of New Zealand

Students enrolled in a pilot training programme offered by J. F. Oberlin University in Tokyo go through two years of training at CTC Aviation in Hamilton in New Zealand. According to the university, 25 students are currently training in Hamilton.

The Tokyo office of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) acted as a go-between for the CTC and the university which used to send its students to the U.S. but was looking for a new training ground.
