Message for all New Zealanders in Japan

Following the magnitude 8.9 earthquake that struck north-east Japan on 11 March, the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade asks all New Zealanders in Japan to advise us of your current whereabouts and safety and wellbeing.

We require the following information from you:

- Full name
- Date of Birth
- New Zealand passport number (if known)
- Details for any travel companions

Send the above details to

Please also contact your family in New Zealand to advise them of your safety and wellbeing.

If you are no longer in Japan, please update your registration details, www.safetravel.govt.nz as well as sending an email.
