Sendai-Christchurch Art Exchange

An exhibition with work from 34 Christchurch artists will be held in Sendai city from June 22 - June 27, and in Shiogama from June 30 - July 15. The project was initiated to support artists in Sendai and Christchurch, and to celebrate cultural achievement in post disaster environments.

Stage one of the project will take place with visiting artists from Christchurch to Sendai in June 2012, and in 2013 an exhibition of work from Sendai artists will be held in Christchurch. To find out more about the project visit the website: http://sendai-christchurch.tumblr.com/
