Trade Minister Tim Groser welcomed Korea’s decision to resume formal negotiations toward a free trade agreement, following a meeting today in Bali with his Korean counterpart, Minister of Trade Yoon Sang-jick.
New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA), supported by Education New Zealand, has signed Education Cooperation Arrangements with two Korean education agencies – Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) and National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE). The Arrangements were signed last week during a visit to Seoul by NZQA Chief Executive, Karen Poutasi, and form part of the New Zealand Government’s on-going engagement with Korean education authorities to ensure and improve understanding and recognition of education qualifications between our two countries
Sixteen New Zealand food and beverage companies joined forces on 14 November to share New Zealand products and recipes with over 300 experts from the Korean food and beverage industry, including top chefs, menu developers and buyers from major hotels, restaurant chains and catering companies, retailers, food manufacturing companies, importers/distributors, journalists and power bloggers.
