Taking your cat or dog to New Zealand
In March 2000 the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (MAF) added the Republic of Korea to a list of countries which are recognised by New Zealand as canine rabies free or well controlled. As long as MAF's procedures are adhered to exactly, domestic cats and dogs may now be taken from Korea to New Zealand.
