V3.1 Group visas

  a. Group visas may be granted to groups of people who will be arriving in, and visiting New Zealand together, for the same purpose.

  b. Group visas should name each member of the group and be current for travel within one month of the applicants' intended date of arrival in New Zealand, unless the immigration officer considers the applicants' circumstances warrant a longer or shorter period.

  c. A leader must take charge of the group visa, and:

     i. present it on arrival with the passports or travel documents of the people named in it; and
     ii. ensure that the group stays together as a single unit on arrival and completes all necessary arrival formalities.

Lodging Application

• Visitors Visa Application Form (INZ 1017) must be fully completed in English and signed for each applicant. Note that a parent or guardian may sign on behalf of a child under 18 years old.

  • Application fee of KRW65,000 per applicant
  • Valid passport
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs of each applicant
  • Evidence supporting purpose of travel

NB: Please note that applications will be return unprocessed if any item mentioned above is missing. Kindly use the most up-to-date INZ form.

NOTES

1. This office reserves the right to request additional information in the course of assessing an application and to retain information and documents on file.

2. We will assess whether you are likely to be a genuine visitor in New Zealand. Once a decision is made, there is no statutory right of appeal.

3. Notary certificates will be kept by the branch after the finalisation of your application. Notary certificate will only be returned if a copy of it is provided with the application.

4. If you provide false or misleading information your application may be declined.

5. The processing time will take approximately 5 to 10 working days. Applications submitted without the required documents will take longer to process. We recommend you do not purchase an airline ticket before you obtain a visa.

6. If you visa has a travel condition of ‘First entry before’, you must arrive in New Zealand by that date. For a multiple entry visa holder, you can travel to New Zealand on or before the ‘Expiry date travel’ on your visa. If you are unable to arrive within the validity date of your visa, the group visa will not be extended and you must lodge a new application.

7. Please note that the group must leave New Zealand together before the expiry of the visa or face deportation.
