Nation-wide Korean Banks
Both residents and non-residents (who will be staying in Korea for less than six months)of Korea can open a bank account. Korean banks offer several different types of bank accounts and most common accounts are deposit, saving and instalments accounts. A person is requested to produce an identification(Alien Registration Card or Passport) when opening a bank account. Below is a list of Korean banks that provide a nation-wide banking service.
