Ambassador Rata attends opening ceremony of Keochang International Festival of Theatre

On 27 July Ambassador Patrick Rata attended the opening ceremony of the 24th Keochang International Festival of Theatre to support the festival as a Publicity Ambassador. In his remarks, Ambassador Rata congratulated the Mayor and organising team and wished them a successful event. He also highlighted the 2012 Korea-New Zealand Year of Friendship. Mayor Lee Hong-ki of the County acknowledged the important contribution of all Publicity Ambassadors. He expressed the hope that a New Zealand theatre group might attend a future festival.
