Ambassador Patrick Rata met with well-known Korean actress Ha Ji-won on 31 July. He congratulated her on her important contribution to the New Zealand-Korea bilateral relationship through her longstanding and continuing role as New Zealand’s Cultural Ambassador to Korea. He also highlighted the Embassy’s past and future activities to celebrate the official 2012 New Zealand-Korea Year of Friendship. Ms Ha talked about her connections and interest in New Zealand, as a place of great natural beauty and inspiration.
