Embassy launches Facebook page

The New Zealand Embassy recently launched its official Facebook page to increase awareness about New Zealand and New Zealand Embassy activities in Korea.

New Zealand’s Ambassador to Korea, Patrick Rata said that “the launch is particularly timely as we celebrate the 2012 Korea-New Zealand Year of Friendship. Through the Embassy’s Facebook page, we will share details about special events and activities as well as other Embassy news.”

“Korea is known as one of the most-wired countries in the world and we want to engage with the public in a more interactive way that complements our current Embassy website. We hope that many friends of New Zealand in Korea will enjoy our Facebook page,” he said.
