New Zealand and Korea played an exciting game in Seoul ahead of the London Olympics.

New Zealand’s Olympic football team, the Oly Whites played its final warm-up match against Korea in Seoul on Saturday, 14 July ahead of the London Olympics. It was an exciting and entertaining game in which Korea narrowly defeated New Zealand 2-1. The Oly Whites showed tremendous heart against a quality Korean team.It provided a useful build-up opportunity for both teams as they were preparing for the London Olympics. A large Kiwi contingent urged our team on waiving our flags. Ambassador Patrick Rata was part of the official party and had opportunity to speak to the New Zealand players and coaching staff.
