Strike to perform at the Second International Percussion Festival in Seoul
New Zealand's internationally-renowned percussion group "Strike" will perform this Friday night (27 July) at 8.00pm at KNUA Hall of the Korea National University of Arts in Seocho-gu, Seoul. Theirs will be the prestigious closing performance of the week-long Second International Percussion Festival in Seoul.
At the Festival's opening ceremony on 23 July, Ambassador Patrick Rata congratulated the organisers on a magnificent event and said Strike's participation would be a wonderful opportunity to highlight and celebrate the 2012 Korea-New Zealand Year of Friendship. He added that "Strike continues our strong South Pacific tradition of drumming, incorporating it with classical and contemporary musical influences for a spectacular performance."
For those of you interested to support Strike's performance on Friday, ticket details can be found at www.ipfs.co.kr.
Strike will also be performing at the Sacheon International Percussion Festival, which is going to be held from 2-5 August.
