Amy Adams, New Zealand’s Minister for Communications and Information Technology, capped off a successful visit to Seoul on 16 May at an ICT business reception at the Ambassador’s Residence. The Minister was in Seoul to take part in the annual Korea–Australia–New Zealand Broadband Summit. While here, she visited Korea’s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute to see examples of world-leading New Zealand and Korean ICT collaboration. Minister Adams is also New Zealand’s Minister for the Environment, and called on her Korean counterpart Minister Yoo Young-sook to support the growing collaboration between Korea and New Zealand on environment issues. Former Governor General of New Zealand, the Right Honourable Sir Anand Satyanand, was able to join Minister Adams for the ICT reception, and at a wine promotion event hosted by the KiwiChamber.
