Prime Minister John Key delivered a speech to the Kiwi Chamber (New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Korea) on Monday 29 July.

Prime Minister John Key met President Park Geun-hye for bilateral talks in Seoul on 26 July. The Prime Minister Key visited Korea with a group of New Zealand veterans to take part in commemorations marking the 60th anniversary of the Korean War armistice.

Thirty three New Zealand veterans of the Korean War joined Prime Minister John Key in Korea to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Korean War Armistice. The veterans’ visited Korea 24-30 July, led by Minister of Veterans Affairs Michael Woodhouse, and joined by Chief of the New Zealand Defence Force Rhys Jones.

Prime Minister John Key announced today that he will travel to South Korea to join New Zealand veterans in commemorations marking the 60th anniversary of the armistice which ended the Korean War. The Minister of Veterans Affairs Michael Woodhouse will also accompany the veterans.

Six Korean secondary and primary school students from Songpa-gu received Christchurch Songpa-gu Sister City Youth Ambassador Scholarships at a ceremony held at the New Zealand Residence on 30 June.
