English media in Korea

Newspapers

There are three English newspapers printed in Korea which will help you to keep in touch with what is happening in Korea and in the world. These are Korea Times, Korea Herald,and Joongang Ilbo English Edition which will come with the International Herald Tribune. All three are readily available from the newsstand. Subscription requests can be made through their websites.

Broadcasting Services

There is an English broadcasting service in Korea, Arirang. Those in Seoul would be able to watch it on Television but those in other regions may have to subscribe the service through cable. AFN (American Forces Network) is another, but again depending on the region you live in, you may have to subscribe the service. Other English services such as CNN, NBC and MTV can be subscribed through Cable.
