New Zealand-Malaysia Working Holiday Scheme Alumni

Each year 1,150 places are available to young Malaysian citizens under the Working Holiday Scheme enabling them to visit New Zealand for up to 6 months and permitting them to supplement their visit with work or study.

The New Zealand High Commission is committed to fostering an ongoing relationship between New Zealand and Malaysia. As part of our efforts we have established a ‘Working holiday Scheme Alumni’ as a way to keep in contact with young Malaysians who have visited New Zealand under this scheme.

If you are, or have been in the past, a working holiday scheme participant then we would like to invite you to join our Alumni. The Alumni will provide a way for participants to get in contact with each other and retain a connection with New Zealand - a great way to expand your social and business networks on your return.
