Notarial services and fees
Staff at the New Zealand High Commission are able to perform the notarial services listed below. The services can only take place at the New Zealand High Commission. There are fees for these services.
- Certifying a document is a true copy of the original
eg. birth or marriage certificates, education certificates (additional copies see below): Fee: RM65.00 - Taking affidavits, affirmations or statutory declarations
document prepared by solicitor or applicant: Fee: RM130.00 - Preparation of consular letters, issuing consular certificates, witnessing signatures on documents
eg. wills, power of attorney, land transfer deeds etc. Fee: RM130.00 - Verifiiying local foreign ministry signature/seal on foreign documents for use in New Zealand
Fee: RM130.00 - Verifying MFAT signatures/seal on documents for use overseas
eg. which have been forwarded by Consular Division or direct from the client: Fee: RM195.00
Note: Additional copies of any document listed above will be charged at 50% of the full rate.
