Changes to Legal and Notarial Services Fees

As of 1 July 2010 the High Commission fees have increased for the following services:

Certifying documents as true copies of the original (eg. birth or marriage certificates):
RM60.00

Issuing consular letters;
Issuing consular certificates;
Taking affidavits, affirmations or statutory declarations (document prepared by solicitor or applicant);
Witnessing signatures on documents (eg Wills, power of attorneys, land transfer deeds etc); and
Verifying local foreign ministry signature/seal on foreign documents for use in New Zealand:
RM120.00

Verifying MFAT signatures/seal on documents for use overseas which have been forwarded by Consular Division or direct from client:
RM180.00
