Information for Mexicans

Visitor

If you hold a valid Mexican passport, have return tickets and proof of sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay, you may visit New Zealand for tourism purposes for up to three months without a visa.

Study or Work

If you wish to study (for a period of three months or longer) or work in New Zealand you will require a visa. Mexicans are exempt from paying visa fees for a student or work visa.  Mexicans should apply for these visas by sending their applications to the New Zealand Embassy in Washington.

Transit

Mexican citizens are exempt from the transit visa requirement.

Working Holiday Visa

The New Zealand Embassy in Washington also provides support for processing Working Holiday Visas for Mexican citizens.
