New Zealand's new Ambassador to Mexico: Clare Kelly

On May 13, Ambassador Clare Kelly presented copies of her Letters of Credence to the Mexican Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Antonio Meade Kuribreña. Both pledged to continue working to strengthen the relationship between New Zealand and Mexico. Before being appointed Ambassador to Mexico, Clare Kelly worked in the Trade Negotiations Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as Deputy Director for Agriculture and Goods. She has also served as Counsellor at the New Zealand Permanent Mission to the World Trade Organisation (2003-2007) and First Secretary and Consul General of the New Zealand Embassy in Chile (1995 to 1999).  Clare was a member of the law firm, White and Case, LLP in Geneva 2007-2009.
