New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarship (NZIDRS)

The NZIDRS programme provides an opportunity for international students to undertake doctoral study in New Zealand in a wide range of disciplines.

The NZIDRS is open to all international students who meet the eligibility criteria. Full eligibility criteria are available on the following website: www.newzealandeducated.com and include:

  • Being an international student
  • Holding an 'A' average or equivalent
  • Meeting the requirements for entry into a research based doctoral degree programme at a New Zealand university, including proof of English language proficiency

Scholarship funding covers full tuition fees for three years of full-time doctoral study and an annual living allowance, among other fees. There is no age limit to apply. The closing date for applications is 15 July 2010.
