Venezuelan nationals are now exempt from the transit visa requirement

From 30 November 2009, Venezuelan nationals will no longer require transit visas to transit New Zealand en route to other destinations.

The Government of New Zealand has expanded the transit visa exemption list to include nine additional countries, including Venezuela. From 30 November 2009, Venezuelan nationals will no longer require transit visas to transit New Zealand en route to other destinations (there has been no change to other visa requirements).
