Visit to Mexico by the Minister of Trade and for Climate Change Issues, 2-6 November 2010
In early November, Minister Tim Groser visited Mexico to participate in a climate change meeting.
He also led the first-ever visit by a New Zealand business delegation to scope investment and trade opportunities in Mexico. He hosted a networking lunch attended by over 100 guests from government and the Mexican business community.
During his visit, Minister Groser also met with the Secretaries of External Relations, Energy and Economy. He participated in a televised conference with members of the Mexican Senate and presented a gift from New Zealand to the Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) to mark Mexico's bicentenary of independence.
