New Zealand Embassy Mexico City
New Zealand and Venezuela
The goal of the New Zealand Aid Programme is a safe and just world free of poverty and the agency’s mission is eliminating poverty through development partnerships.
In this context, the New Zealand Embassy operates the Head of Mission Fund (HOMF), which is a modest grants scheme that enables New Zealand Diplomatic Posts, consistent with their diplomacy objectives, to flexibly support activities which manifestly and directly contribute to poverty elimination and meet development needs in recipient countries.
The HOMF is primarily aimed at supporting small-scale development projects and activities. Recipients are generally non-government organisations and community groups engaged in development activities on a not-for-profit basis.
Funds are available to assist small non-government organisations and community group development projects in Venezuela. For further information, please refer to the application package. [PDF 43KB]
