New Zealand to participate in Embassy Festival in The Hague on 7 September

The city of The Hague is organising an Embassy Festival on 7 September 2013 in the centre of the Hague.  The festival will take place on the Lange Voorhout from 12.00 to 21.00.  New Zealand wine, meat and pies will be available at the New Zealand stand and a haka performance will be given on stage.

Jarrod Engelfield of De Wandelaar will be selling tastings of New Zealand wine and taking orders.  New Zealand pies from Wild Moa Pies will be for sale. There will also be New Zealand meat from Visser en Van Walsum on the barbecue.

A haka will be performed by members of the Njord Rowing Club from Leiden, custodians of a carved waka based at the Volkenkunde Museum.

More information on the Embassy Festival is available at the official website.
