New Zealand Embassy The Hague, The Netherlands


New Zealand author Eleanor Catton, who won the Man Booker Prize for her book The Luminaries, will visit The Hague on 16 April and will speak at the Border Kitchen.


On 24 and 25 March the third Nuclear Security Summit will be hosted by the Netherlands in The Hague.


An online toolkit is now available for New Zealand exporters to help tell the New Zealand story overseas.


The New Zealand Dance Company will be performing in The Hague and Amsterdam in February 2014.  The Okareka Dance Company will also be be performing in The Hague.


The New Zealand Embassy in The Hague will be closed from the afternoon of 24 December and will reopen on 6 January 2014.


De Wandelaar, a store selling New Zealand products, will soon open in Amsterdam and New Zealander Oliver Hicks will run the length of the Netherlands to raise funds for breast cancer research.


The New Zealand Embassy in The Hague will be closed on Monday 28 October 2013, New Zealand Labour Day.

We will reopen on Tuesday 29 October.

The city of The Hague is organising an Embassy Festival on 7 September 2013 in the centre of the Hague.  The festival will take place on the Lange Voorhout from 12.00 to 21.00.  New Zealand wine, meat and pies will be available at the New Zealand stand and a haka performance will be given on stage.


Top of the Lake, a New Zealand based mini-series, will premiere at the EYE Amsterdam on 14 September 2012. 

New Zealand artist Lisa Reihana will take part in the Suspended Histories exhibition at the Van Loon Museum in Amsterdam from 5 October 2013 to 20 January 2014.


The New Zealand Embassy in The Hague will be closed on Tuesday 30 April 2013 for the Dutch Queen's Birthday holiday (Koninginnedag).
