To marry in New Caledonia, French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna, you must comply with local laws and regulations. The local Town Hall can advise you as to what documentation is required. This may include your birth certificate and a document from the Registrar General called a Certificate of No Impediment. Please refer to the Department of Internal Affairs website for procedures on how to obtain a Certificate of No Impediment.
