New Caledonian Delegation visit to New Zealand – Water and Sanitation

A 16-member New Caledonian delegation comprising mayors from around New Caledonia and government officials visited Wellington and Taupo from 23 to 29 June to study New Zealand’s water and waste water regulatory framework and policy implementation.

The delegation’s programme included engagements with NIWA, Local government NZ, Ministry of Health, Environmental Science and Research and site visits to two wastewater treatment plants.
