New Zealand participation in regional conference in Noumea on prevention of delinquency

New Zealand Senior Sergeant Kevin Kneebone will speak about community involvement in crime prevention in New Zealand at the regional conference “What shared future for the prevention of delinquency?” organised by the government of New Caledonia 5-7 June.

Sergeant Kneebone is currently “Prevention Manager Youth and Community Policing” at the New Zealand Police National Headquarters. In his 22 year career in the New Zealand Police, he has had 18 years in youth and community policing and developed and implements training in Youth and Community Policing at the Royal New Zealand Police College.  He was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) in 2005 for services to youth and community policing.
