Overseas voting at the Consulate
Voting for New Zealand registered electors who will be overseas on election day (Saturday 26 November) began on Wednesday 9 November.
New Zealanders that will be in New Caledonia on Election Day (who are enrolled to vote) can place their votes by:
- Downloading voting papers from www.elections.org.nz from Wednesday 9 November. Papers then need to be faxed or posted to New Zealand
- Applying for voting papers to be posted from New Zealand, before 12 November
- Casting an advance vote in New Zealand, if in New Zealand between 9 and 25 November
- Voting at the New Zealand Consulate - The Consulate opening hours are 9 am-11am, 1.30pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Voting at the Consulate closes at 4pm on Thursday 24 November.
