New Caledonia and New Zealand artists once again came together this week in a fusion of musical talents thanks to a New Zealand Artist in Residence week organized by the Siapo Arts Collective. New Zealand harpist Natalia Mann spent the week collaborating with well known local musician Tyssia Gatuhau Wahnawé, delighting public with live improvisations and performances at venues throughout Greater Noumea including a special visit to perform for the children at Magenta Hospital. Natalia is the 2013 recipient of Creative New Zealand's Iosefa Enari Memorial Award and known for her creative and contemporary style of harp playing.

You can listen to Natalia and Tyssia performing together here.
