Sat 06.12.08 The New Zealand Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York is now accepting applications for internships for the periods from the end of January 2009 to the end of April 2009 , and from the end of April 2009 to the end of July 2009.

New Zealand Governor-General accepts FDR International Disability Award

Thu 08.05.08 The Hon Anand Satyanand, PCNZM, QSO, Governor-General of New Zealand, received the FDR International Disability Award on 6 May 2008 on behalf of New Zealand. The Award, from the World Committee on Disability and the Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute, recognises New Zealand's effects to improve the rights and lives of people with disabilities.
