New Passports

New Zealand Embassies no longer issue Passports. Applications for new Passports now have to be made through the Department of Internal Affairs in Wellington.

The Department of Internal Affairs[external link] has information and application forms online.

You can submit your application and pay your fees through the Embassy in Tehran.

Lost or Stolen Passport?

If your Passport is lost or stolen, the first thing you should do is notify local police and obtain a police report. You will need this police report when you deal with the Iranian government in obtaining permission to leave Iran (exit visa) and also in applying for a new Passport.

What the Embassy does

The New Zealand Embassy, Rome is an overseas post of the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
