Pacific Showcase provides opportunities for PNG companies

The second Pacific Showcase at the Cloud on Auckland’s Queens Wharf kicked off last weekend, bringing the best of the Pacific to central Auckland.  It features a range of boutique stalls, a pacific themed market place, promotional kiosks, a pacific café and an entertainment stage.  RD Tuna and Banz Kofi from Papua New Guinea are there to promote their PNG products.  Organised by the New Zealand-based Pacific Cooperation Foundation the Showcase brings a focus onto the vast wealth of products, arts and culture across the region.  A spokesperson for RD Tuna said they’re at the Showcase to look at new products that will boost economic growth in the region.  The Showcase is a great opportunity for PNG companies grow their trade to New Zealand.  The first Pacific Showcase in Auckland in 2011 attracted over 38,000 visitors over three days.  For more information go to www.pacificshowcase.co.nz.
