The Asia New Zealand Foundation brings Kiwi journalists to the Philippines

Each year the Asia New Zealand Foundation offers New Zealand journalists the opportunity to travel across Asia to research and prepare stories, including through their internship programmes with media organisations in the Philippines, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In 2010, Dominion Post journalist Amanda Fisher was selected for an internship at the Philippine Star.  Her reflections on the time she spent in the Philippines are available here.

More information on the Asia New Zealand Foundation is available here and more on the organisation’s media programmes can be found here.
