Despite the heavy monsoon rains and flooding currently affecting Metro Manila, the embassy remains open. 

If you are a New Zealand citizen in need of emergency assistance, please call the embassy on (02) 891-5358 between 0800-1230 and 1330-1630.  For after hours emergency assistance, please call the duty officer on 0917 858 9867.

We continue to monitor the situation.  We advise those in any area affected by flooding to listen to local media for information and to follow any instructions and advice issued by local authorities.   Updated information on the weather forecast can be found on the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) website at www.pagasa.dost.gov.ph
