The Australian Embassy in Manila has advised that, as of 1 July 2013, for security reasons all travel by their Embassy staff to Davao City, Cotabato City and Zamboanga City has been cancelled until further notice. The New Zealand Embassy has therefore taken the step of implementing the same policy for our own staff.

The New Zealand and Australian Embassies in Manila will jointly host this year’s Anzac Day commemoration on Thursday 25 April, at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers) in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Metro Manila. The ceremony will commence at 5:30am.
The recipients of the New Zealand Embassy’s Head of Mission Fund (HOMF) for 2012-2013 were presented in an afternoon tea hosted by Ambassador Reuben Levermore in honour of the New Zealand Minister of Commerce Craig Foss during his visit to Manila in mid-March.
