The New Zealand Embassy has once again joined with our Australian counterpart and Philippine government agencies to spread the word to the business community about the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA).


The New Zealand Government has awarded 15 postgraduate scholarships to Filipinos under the New Zealand-ASEAN Scholars Awards, with funding from the New Zealand Aid Programme.


New Zealand is contributing NZ$500,000 (about 17 million pesos) to support emergency relief in response to the devastation caused by Typhoon Sendong (international name Washi).


The New Zealand Embassy will be closed from 12.30pm on Friday 23 December 2011 and will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2012.


New Zealand is determined to do its fair share in addressing climate change, according to climate change negotiations minister Tim Groser.


New Zealand’s foreign minister Murray McCully has emphasised the importance of New Zealand’s relationship with ASEAN during an address on the major economic and foreign policy issues facing New Zealand over the next five years.


Now in its 50th year of publication, the United Nations Handbook remains the only comprehensive printed guide to the United Nations system and how it works.  The handbook summarises all United Nations organisations and provides essential information about their aims, structures and membership.


An international group of partners, including the New Zealand embassy, is once again calling for proposals for innovative Filipino human rights projects under the program called Karapatan sa Malikhaing Paraan or KaSaMa, with up to 1 million pesos per project up for grabs.
