Working Holiday Scheme with Poland starts on 15 February

The Poland WHS will open on 15 February 2010. The scheme will allow Poles between the ages 18-30 to live and work in New Zealand for up to a year.  

Waitangi Day at the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw

National Day of New Zealand (Waitangi Day) celebrations will take place on Saturday 6 February at the Asian Gallery, 5 Freta Street in Warsaw.

1-3 p.m. Event for children. The Asian Gallery will be filled with the sounds images and myths of New Zealand. Children (over 5) are invited to join in Maori games, have their faces painted with ethnic designs and taste some New Zealand treats. Every child will receive a Maori name and a small gift.

Science funding opportunity

The New Zealand Government has announced a one-off funding opportunity to support a Polish researcher to undertake a 3 week study visit to New Zealand.
