Ambasador Designate Wendy Hinton at the ceremony

Every year on 25 April the Embassies of New Zealand and Australia organise a ceremony at the Tomb of The Unknown Solider in memory of those who died or suffered from the efforts of war.

Those present were addressed by Ms Wendy Hinton, New Zealand Ambassador Designate to Poland, and HE Ms Jean Dunn, Australian Ambassador.

Representatives of government from the United States, Turkey, Canada, Great Britain, the Republic of Poland, as well as the Polish Army and Polish war veterans fighting with New Zealand Soldiers and Australian Soldiers in World War II participated in the wreath laying ceremony.
