On 25 April 1915 the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZACs) went ashore at the Gallipoli peninsula marking the first day of a campaign that would cost many thousands of them their lives.

ANZAC Day has since then been an occassion for New Zealanders and Australians to remember their war dead. This year the ANZAC Day Service in Poland will take place on 25 April starting at 11.45 a.m. at Pilsudskiego Sq in Warsaw. Please join us there if you can in remembering the sacrifice of our soldiers.
