Maori culture exhibition at the National Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw

Professor Jaworowska guides guests around the exhibition during its opening

Between 7 May – 6 June 2014 an exhibition entitled "Values of traditional Polynesian culture for the present times" by Professor Mirosława Jaworowska will be held at the National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw.

The exhibition shows different aspects of the very diverse Polynesian art culture. Materials were collected during three expeditions to Polynesia between 2003 - 2011. Various items showcased at the museum display traditional Maori culture in jewellery, artwork and carvings. Presented items are complemented by photographs from the scientific travels, along with samples of Maori music.

We would very much encourage everyone to visit this unique exhibition.
