Polish and Latvian Performances at the New Zealand International Arts Festival

This year's New Zealand International Arts Festival, which takes place in Wellington from 26 February to 21 March will feature performances by Warsaw's Teatr TR Warszawa and Riga's The New Riga Theatre.

The New Riga Theatre performance titled Sound of Silence is a play with no words performed to the music of Simon and Garfunkel. The scene is set in the 1960s and follows a group of 14 young Latvians.

TR Warszawa will perform acclaimed director Grzegorz Jarzyna's latest play, T.E.O.R.E.M.A.T based on Pier Paolo Passolini's 1968 cult film, "Teorema".
