Waitangi Day at the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw

National Day of New Zealand (Waitangi Day) celebrations will take place on Saturday 6 February at the Asian Gallery, 5 Freta Street in Warsaw.

1-3 p.m. Event for children. The Asian Gallery will be filled with the sounds images and myths of New Zealand. Children (over 5) are invited to join in Maori games, have their faces painted with ethnic designs and taste some New Zealand treats. Every child will receive a Maori name and a small gift.

4-6 p.m. Presentation titled "Our New Zealand" and meeting with photographer Rafal Zurmanowicz. The New Zealand Ambassador, dr Penelope Ridings will attend.

The event is organised by the Asia and Pacific Museum in Warsaw in cooperation with www.naszanowazelandia.pl portal under the patronage of the New Zealand Embassy.
