New Zealand Embassy, Moscow, Russian Federation

What the Embassy does

The Ambassador of New Zealand to the Russian Federation H.E. Hamish Cooper

Kia Ora, and welcome to the website of the New Zealand Embassy in Moscow.

If you are a New Zealander, you may be visiting the website to check out our consular services, relating to such matters as passports and emergency assistance. You’ll also find here notices about any upcoming events of interest, such as ANZAC Day and cultural events.

Non-New Zealanders may be seeking advice on visiting, studying or working in New Zealand, including how to obtain a visa (Immigration New Zealand contact details are on the Contact Us page).

The Embassy also plays an important role in promoting political and economic/trade relations between New Zealand and the Russian Federation, and our other counties of accreditation: Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Moldova and Tajikistan. In this we work closely with our Honorary Consuls in Vladivostok and in Almaty, as well as with our partner New Zealand government agencies, including Immigration New Zealand (Moscow), New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (Hamburg) and Tourism New Zealand (London).

This website is intended to provide responses to frequently-asked questions, including links to other useful sources of information. If you have an enquiry that goes beyond the information provided here, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

For information in Russian, please visit the Russian version of this website.
