NZ Ambassador Hamish Cooper meets with Chairman of the Board of the EEC Commission Victor Khristenko

The New Zealand Ambassador and colleagues from the Embassy met on 13 March with Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Victor Khristenko. New Zealand is developing a constructive working relationship with the EEC, as well as with all three of the Customs Union member countries. Though resident in Moscow, the Ambassador is also accredited as the New Zealand Ambassador to the other Customs Union countries – Kazakhstan and Belarus.

Another member of the EEC Board, the Commissioner in charge of Industry and Agriculture, Sergey Sidorskiy, recently visited New Zealand to learn more about the New Zealand experience of coordination of agro-industrial policy.
